Molly's Mom
by  Leslie Hendrickson-Baral

I know my name is Natalie

I know where I come from
Yet since our family's grown to three
I'm labeled Molly's Mom

I simply had a baby
A real and human fact
My identity's been stolen
I want my figure back

At times I feel I'm floating
With baby at my breast
Unless I'm looking in my mirror
Or craving time and rest

Okay, all right, I get it
So I won't try to fib
The source of life's delicious

She's sleeping in her crib.

With the visceral memory of her writing sabbatical beginning to fade, Leslie Hendrickson-Baral found herself acutely more aware of her expanded human perspective as she recommitted to and regained her balance at the helm of her neurotherapeutic clinical practice. In addition to the publication of her poems in Troika and Wired Art from Wired Hearts. Her literary resume also includes publications in Mediphor, Potpourri, Millennium Science Fiction & Fantasy Magazine, New England Writer's Network, Poetry Motel, and Taste-Berries for Teens II by Dr. Bettie B.Youngs.
