Wings of Silver Steel
by Ann Marie McGovern-Theriault

I've lent our land my angel.
A void my heart does feel.
This angel flies for freedom,
With wings of silver steel.

Lord, send your shield of love to him,
For lurking where he flies,
Evil hides behind each cloud,
In dangered, darkened skies.

Oh guide him with a light that's just.
Let peace at once reveal.
With freedom then, you'll fly him home,
With wings of silver steel.
