Inside
by Kris Underwood
While you were inside
Ferocious kicks
Affected my side,
Just below the ribs.
A foot, perhaps? A hand
Rising against the
Tide of my skin?
Instinct grew in every way
While you moved inside.
And still,
A year and a half past
I can remember movement
Fluid in nature.
